Tardies and Absences
School begins at 8:15, although students may enter the classroom as early as 7:45. We begin each day with an academic warm-up activity as well as using the time for announcements and to collect homework, notes, etc. Students who arrive even a few minutes late tend to fall behind in organization and preparedness for the day.

Handwriting
Students
will review writing the letters of the alphabet in the first nine weeks. In
the second nine weeks students will begin copy work of poems in order to ensure their penmanship is at grade level.
Weekly Work Folder
Graded
papers will be sent home each week in a red "Weekly Work Folder." This folder is
packed with school work, information from the school office, Pto, etc.
Please sign the acknowledgment sheet and return the folder the next day.
