Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! I am thrilled to be teaching first grade this year with a wonderful first grade team and gracious Neuse Charter staff. I am excited to begin this journey with you and your student.
Neuse Charter School will be hosting an Open house for all incoming families. Open house will provide the opportunity for students and families to meet administration and staff before school begins.
If you attend Open House, please bring your school supplies with you. Individual labeling is unnecessary since our classroom will be a sharing community, however, attaching a label to the bag of supplies with your child's name will be helpful. On the first day of school we will pass out supplies that will be kept in their pencil box and the rest will be kept in the classroom. Also, any supplies for special classes should be dropped off to each individual Special Teacher.
I am looking forward to meeting everyone! This is going to be a great year and I can't wait to begin building a relationship with you and your incoming first grader. I will see you all very soon!
