Classroom Management

Classroom Rules

In order for our school family to have a great learning environment, we have some important expectations that we must follow. Here are the rules for my classroom:

Rule #1: Listen when your teacher is talking.

Rule #2: Follow directions quickly.

Rule #3: Respect others, respect yourself and
                respect your school

Rule #4: Raise your hand to speak or stand.

Rule #5: Be safe, be kind, be honest.

Consequences

1st time is a warning

2nd time is a conversation with a teacher and move their clip down

3rd time is filling out a reflection sheet with a parent signature and move a clip down.

4th time is a phone call home, principal's office and a school meeting and move a clip down.

A red note will be stapled to their behavior calendar indicating what happened that caused the clip down. This will need to be signed by me, the student, and the parent. They will be returned the next day and filed.

Please note, these behavior management plans are in place to support the classroom instruction. I strive to create a classroom community that is welcoming, nurturing, exciting, and is conducive to learning. I will continue to implement the behavior management plans as long as they are effective. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, comments, or concerns.

If there are any major areas of concern, you will be contacted by me directly. If specific areas of behavior need to be worked on, additional behavior goals can be easily implemented.
